our house

here are some pics finally. We got new windows so here is a before and after pics. Hope you like. The new windows did so much to the house. This is the front of our house. Alot of blue I know. We are hoping to get it painted this coming spring. We took out all the hedges and now have landscaping. Richard built me a flower bed but it is not done all the was yet, so I will post those pics later.

james birthday

Well. "I can not believe it" as Quincy would say from little einsteins. James is 5 years old and in kindergarten. He is growing up so fast, we went to disneyland and had so much fun. Nana went, Alicias family also went. He is doing really good in school I think he is going to be good at math (just like his daddy). He is a sassy one, we really have to stay on top of him about it. The other night we were at dinner and Uncle Brandon was teasing Brooklyn, James stood up and got inbetween Brandon and Brooklyn and laid into Brandon about leaving his sister alone, it was a proud parent moment seeing him stick up for Brooklyn. He is truely getting older and wiser.

halloween

We celebrated Halloween a little early this year. It is now a Hasler family tradition to go to California Adventure and go trick or treating. It is really cool they have station set up that you can get candy and healthy treats, and you also get to go on the rides. It was so much fun. James was optimas prime (transformer) and Brooklyn was Tinkerbell. I really wanted James to be Peter Pan but he wouldn't do it. I always have to stop myself and say he is old enough to pick his own costume. We went with my sis and her family Noah was Mickey Mouse. Richard just wanted to concentrate on getting as much candy as he could and the rest of us just wanted to enjoy it. We came home with 5 bags of candy and Richard said "thats it?"

Synchro show in Santa Barbara

I got the privledge to swim in a show in santa barbara this weekend on Sunday. there was 8 of us and we did 3 routines. It was at a place called the lotusland, it was beautiful the pool was in the middle of a garden so when ever we were laying out on our backs it was amazing to see all the beautiful landscape. The event that we swam for was a fundraiser there was 500+ people there they came in 6 different groups. So we swam 6 different times. They all loved it. Being that I had not swam forever in was exhausting but amazing and fun. I remembered why I wanted to start swimming again. I havn't had that much fun in along time. I hope I get to do it again. I got to swim with my great friend Shannon who I coach with and my childhood friend Niki. I felt like a kid again,. I do hope that I get to do a show again.

Update

It has been a really l0ng time since I have blogged. Well as you know we are in our house and love it. Brooklyn is 15 months and cute as ever, we are so sad to see her grow. James starts kindergarten in a month, he is our little gamer. Rich is up to the same thing, he loves playing catan. He is building me a flower bed so that is very neat. As for me I am still working like a dog and am tired but it is worth the sacrifice. I am in a synchronized swimming show in Santa Barbara tomorrow and I am very nervous. My sis is pregnant and i am so excited to be an auntie again. I wouls love to become and auntie for Aunna but I know I have to be patiences. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in my life. I wouldn't change them for the world.
