Brooklyn loves to play with my shoes. Especially, my high heels, she walks around the house like a little princess. She loves pushing here baby stroller around. Other things that she enjoys are necklaces and braclets, purses and babies. She loves carrying her blankets around she has a few favorites. She is just a joy to have in our life. We love her soooooooooooooooo much and can't wait to see what she will do with her life.

Christmas morning
Santa and had come and gone, left lots of fun toys for James and Brooklyn. Brooklyn got a minnie mouse kitchen and a purse (big fan of purses). James got a tomy gun that shoots nerf bullets and a lot of other tiny things. In each of there stockings they got orange tic tacs (our families favorite) there was a huge fight over the orange tic tacs, so richard ate them all and made it worst. After, they had forgotten about the tic tacs it was smooth sailing everything that I hoped our first christmas in our house would be like. James was so excited when he saw the half eaten cookie Santa had left!!! I made a huge breakfast and we all played with the new tos. We are truely blessed.
Santa 2009
We go and take the kids every year to see Santa, and you always have to have the one picture with each kid that the kid is crying. This year it was our little Brooklyn. As soon as she saw Santa up close she started crying (it was the funniest thing). The thing that is ironic about it she will go up to any character at disneyland ans say hi! James is growing up too fast. He now wants me to write down anything he sees that he wants for his list. He was so funny he told santa everything he wanted, and of course, got everything he wanted.

our house
here are some pics finally. We got new windows so here is a before and after pics. Hope you like. The new windows did so much to the house. This is the front of our house. Alot of blue I know. We are hoping to get it painted this coming spring. We took out all the hedges and now have landscaping. Richard built me a flower bed but it is not done all the was yet, so I will post those pics later.
james birthday
Well. "I can not believe it" as Quincy would say from little einsteins. James is 5 years old and in kindergarten. He is growing up so fast, we went to disneyland and had so much fun. Nana went, Alicias family also went. He is doing really good in school I think he is going to be good at math (just like his daddy). He is a sassy one, we really have to stay on top of him about it. The other night we were at dinner and Uncle Brandon was teasing Brooklyn, James stood up and got inbetween Brandon and Brooklyn and laid into Brandon about leaving his sister alone, it was a proud parent moment seeing him stick up for Brooklyn. He is truely getting older and wiser.
halloween
We celebrated Halloween a little early this year. It is now a Hasler family tradition to go to California Adventure and go trick or treating. It is really cool they have station set up that you can get candy and healthy treats, and you also get to go on the rides. It was so much fun. James was optimas prime (transformer) and Brooklyn was Tinkerbell. I really wanted James to be Peter Pan but he wouldn't do it. I always have to stop myself and say he is old enough to pick his own costume. We went with my sis and her family Noah was Mickey Mouse. Richard just wanted to concentrate on getting as much candy as he could and the rest of us just wanted to enjoy it. We came home with 5 bags of candy and Richard said "thats it?"
